About Us
Leominster Assembly of God is a church called into existence by the sovereignty of God in order that we may exalt the Lord Jesus Christ—mankind's only hope for eternal salvation. This church promotes the teaching of our Lord Jesus and the truth of the entire Word of God (the Bible) for the blessing and benefit of all who will follow Christ as his disciples.
Leominster Assembly of God is a member of, and is in cooperative fellowship with, the General Council of the Assemblies of God of Springfield, Missouri. We are in the Southern New England District of the Assemblies of God.
Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world's largest Pentecostal denomination with some 51 million members and adherents. But numbers fail to tell the real story, and statistics can never meet human needs. People who need help in coming to know God, have problems in their home, or are troubled by any of a multitude of other things that keep people from being happy and fulfilled, need someone who cares. And that's the message of our Fellowship. Because Jesus cares for people, the Assemblies of God is people who care about each other.
OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT
What are we about?
The purpose of Leominster Assembly of God is that we know and experience the presence of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ in us. Christ will be glorified as we pray and worship Him, as we love and obey His Word, and as we care for one another. As a result of Christ working in us, the Holy Spirit will work through us to minister and to reach people who are without the Lord.
OUR VISION/MISSION STATEMENT
Where we are going?
"Our vision is to let Christ change us and our world from the inside out -- Christ in us and through us."
